They're not a cupcake that's for sure, two solid tests before LSU.

Is that former Bama QB still coaching at North Tejas?

If we're not thoroughly handling teams like La Tech at this point, I don't know what the say. We should wipe them off the field in two weeks.

There isn't really an excuse for us to not handle LA Tech. They are good for a midmajor but dominant teams should be dominate

Two good tests for this defense to grow up before we get into the death row series of SEC games. Im not too worried about offense. My fears are this defense.

Why should i worry about LA Techs offense? 2 of their TDs came on 1 play drives after a fumble recover took it to the 2 yd line and a recovered fumbled punt return at the 12 yard line.

ETA: NT only managed 94 total yards against Texas. Lets not pretend they are a good measuring stick

I have some concerns in the back 4 but I think they will get better as the season goes. Based on the last 6 quarters I'm not concerned with the DL overall barring more injuries. I would like to see more pass rush from them though.

By Tech standards, yes.

By our standards, no.

I could see them going 9-3 this season with their only conference loss being UAB.

They spread it around in the passing game. I doubt N. Texas was getting much pressure on the QB though.

Speaking of the Blazers how long do you guys think it will be before a major school hires Bill Clark. That man has won everywhere he goes and has appeared to have turned UAB around in an extraordinarily short time. I'd hate for him to get hired by somebody I hate like Michigan. It would pain me to no end to have to pull for the Wolverines.
