Tennessee covers the spread according to CFN.

Tennessee already shut down fast mobile QB Chuckie Keaton and spread offense. OU offense and UT defense should be an interesting match up.

If OU doesn't blow the doors off UT I would be shocked.

Living in Nashville, everyday on the midday radio show it turns into a cripple fight between Vandy and UT fans. Why is that?

Yeah, a few of them are. If UMASS beats them this weekend, that number will go up a lot.

I'm listening to that right now as well. Chad is a noted UT homer and he loves to piss off Vandy fans. I really don't see what is fun about trolling Vandy fans.

Its pathetic how much Tenerse fans are making out of that Utah State win. After they beat Ark St last weekend "college playoffs" was trending in Knoxville

No but we've been able to contain 2 mobile QBs - Keaton and Knighten. Knighten was the fastest of the two whereas Keaton is fast but also a pro-style passer (he's likely faster than OUs QB as well). Last year, we were too slow to do that. Our guys blew up Mizzou's oline on more than one occasion and simply could not tackle Maty Mauk. Hell it worked to their advantage for us to get after Mauk. It was comical because we'd chase him 30 yards backwards with no one in our way and still not be able to bring him down.

So yes, the fact that we've played two very mobile QBs back to back is very good/helps. I don't think OU's QB is nearly as fast or as mobile as the two we've faced.

That doesn't mean we win or even get to OU's QB very often or at all but it is significant that we can finally contain a mobile QB - something that has plagued us for years.

It's stupid to think that that experience doesn't matter. It may be small but it is a plus for us that we have that under our belts.

Chuckie Keeton was pretty much the only player on Utah State's offense with any experience

Oklahoma will be far better

Same shite happened last year

They beat Petrino's WKU team to go to 2-0 and they were mighty confident. Predictions of beating Oregon, or at least playing them close, and winning 5/6 SEC games were rampant

And that's my point, have things gotten that bad for UT that they have to turn to Vandy fans to make themselves feel better?

His whole not saying Vanderbilt for charity was the biggest sham ever. The bet was clearly that he was not supposed to talk about Vandy at all, yet he turned it into call Vandy everything but Vandy. Pathetic.
