Is anyone else tired of hearing this dumbass song? What the frick does it even mean. I also don't understand what it has to do with football not only in the SEC but around the country. I don't understand how SEC Athletic Directors can watch this video and allow the song to be played at their stadiums which are filled with families and their children.

Turn Down For What

I'm not a bible beater but after watching the video, the song should be taken out of the stadiums playlist.

Playing this song at a public venue such as a football game gives the song publicity and makes money for the artist. The video that this artist put out goes against the public polices of everyone of these universities. If you were to do this on campus you would be arrested. It's not in good taste. Why promote this type of artist?

These songs come and go....Party Rock...Gangnam Style...Turn Down for What...etc.

Getting upset over them is stupid. Bob your head to it if it floats your boat. Or plug your ears and wait for the next popular song you can bitch about next year.

Not that it matters, but UT plays it on third down and has changed it to "third down for what" they only play that one phrase

By this logic "Rocky Top" shouldn't be played at UT games.

You telling me other universities don't celebrate the partaking, selling, and smuggling of illicit substances and/or the disappearance of snitches or cops who try to shut it all down for the sake of law, order, and/or morality in song?

Rocky Top

I think the 1967 Osborne Brothers are a lot different then Lil John and the East side boyz.

Quite true. I don't think Lil John ever sang/yelled about the disappearance of law enforcement officers or reminisced about committing bestial sexual acts with a bear/cat hybrid.

I'm just not into the rave rap music their making today. It's a bunch of people without musical talent that are creating noise.

Regardless of the video and your preference I think it does get over played and think they could do better in the song selections.
