The people in that video look to be demon possessed. Maybe the old folks in the fifties were right about Elvis after all.

I'm just not into the rave rap music their making today. It's a bunch of people without musical talent that are creating noise.

Regardless of the video and your preference I think it does get over played and think they could do better in the song selections.

I think country and dad rock are just talentless people who make noise and not music. See? That's easy. People have different tastes you old fogey.

I don't like it, but for different reasons than what you have stated. I think the video lacks creativity and the song, while a little catchy, is way too simple and easy to grow tired of.
As someone else noted, the pelvic thrust has been around a long time. Nothing groundbreaking here.

When it shows the guys dick about to thrust through his shorts its more than pelvic thrusting. Did you watch the video?

I'm sure prince wouldn't even dig that shite never the less Elvis.

Drinking. Why turn down the drink. Why stop drinking.

I thought it's a play off the phrase "turnt up". Which is just the new word for crunk.

Turn down for what? Aka why stop being crunk/partying/etc.

We do the "third down for what" thing and I wouldn't mind it if we didn't do it every single third down. It's just gonna get watered down if when you are beating eastern michigan or whoever 45-0 if you play it and expect the crowd to get fired up

I'm for playing it on big time third downs but that's it

I know this could go the other way and its the same reason that 1994 song Cotton Eye Joe is played at EVERY SINGLE STADIUM but there's got to be better songs they can play at stadiums than turn down for what and cotton eye joe.

In case it hasn't been stated, Turn Down For What has not been played a single time at Tiger Stadium this year.

However, every little league baseball dad that brings his ipod and speakers to the game plays this song for the 8 year olds.

I don't understand how SEC Athletic Directors can watch this video and allow the song to be played at their stadiums which are filled with families and their children.
because the kids on the field, you know the ones playing the game, like it

DWI. young men between the ages of 18-23 dont listen to country while playing sports. welcome to the 21st century.

I don't think it's just that demographic. Does anyone listen to redneck noise before playing sports?

Oh good. Had me worried they might play some of the song's more risqué lyrics.

So you created some BS reason to simultaneously put yourself on a pedestal while trying to make your case for it to not be played? Classy move.

What school do you support? I'll pick one of your songs or traditions and tell you why it's horrible and you should feel bad for supporting it.
