After Bert fails, Arkansas would be stupid not to go after him. I still think that it was unfortunate that he took the Texas Tech job just three days before Kiffin ditched Tennessee without letting anyone know. Tubs would have been perfect for that job and would have been hired there in a heartbeat. Just bad timing. He is a great coach nonetheless. Too good for Cincinnati at least.

There is some great duck hunting in Arkansas. Will be good for Tubs to be back in Auburn this weekend.

There is no way he comes back to the SEC.

I think he knows this, and we have turned him down at least 3 times.

In favor of Houston Nutt and Bret Bielema? I get Bobby Petrino, but damn...

Jeff Long's seat might be about as hot as Bret Bielema's soon.

I love Arky fans

Nothing ever leaks anywhere but Arkansas, where all their fans know exactly who has applied to which job for them how many times

Arkansas would be lucky to have a coach like him but I'm not sure anyone would want to work for Jeff Long

I'm pretty sure Tuberville is aware of the duck hunting in Arkansas, considering he's from there.

I'm sure if any SEC school offers him he will leave in the middle of a recruiting dinner w/o telling anyone where he is going just like he did a Tech.

That said, I highly doubt an SEC school would want him at this point.

Tubs is a solid coach, but in two weeks he turns 60(yea I looked it up). Don't know how much he has left in the tank, especially if he goes into a rebuilding situation.

Any SEC school including Arkansas would have to be stupid beyond belief to hire Tuberville at this point. Guy basically stopped even trying at Auburn after Saban arrived at Alabama

The 2008 recruiting class reflected this all too much...

What a pathetic group of players.
