We all heard about conditiong this off-season and I'm sure I wasn't the only one out there who took what was being said with a grain of salt. to me and all the doubters. Conditioning looked great! I was listening to the S&G show and they were pretty adamant that conditioning (combined with substitutions throughout the game) were major keys to the 4th quarter dominance. I have to agree with them. Joe Tereshinski

It's because they practiced out in the heat and humidity and not in some air conditioned pussified indoor practice facility.

Conditioning AND substituting liberally were both key. Nice to have that kind of depth and nice that the coaching staff stuck to the plan.

Clemson was done in the fourth and our guys looked like they were ready for a few overtimes.

all great replies, and i wondered this as well. the effect was profound in that 4th quarter and made me really proud of them.
