Were those the same that we wore last year? I didn't really notice a difference.

They SEEMED different, but not enough to really matter. But that could have been due to the lighting etc.? It WAS hard to tell, though, wasn't it?

During the gear release event a few weeks ago, Nike says that the red jersey/silver britches combo is an alternate uniform. Otherwise, standard uni pants are listed as gray.

Read that, too, and not really understanding why. It should be THE uniform standard, not a hat trick. And if there were ever a good time to break out the "alternate", why would it not have been Saturday?
