Amari Cooper had 12 catches in the opener. He didn't get 12 catches total last year until week 7 @ Kentucky.

ETA: Predict Coop's final numbers.

It looks like he's clearly Blake's go-to, and his numbers may get even better with his second option White gone for a few games.

Amari is great. Sophmore slumps just happen. It's apart of football.

Can't help but think that Kiffin is a big reason. I expect Kiffin to be determined to get the ball into Cooper's hands, one way or another.

***Obviously it won't happen***, but it'd be cool to see Cooper get 100 catches.

He's on pace for 180 catches

its nice to see him get fed, but we REALLY need to find a way to get Howard the ball. I thought Lane was supposed to install a tight end-heavy offense?

TE heavy? No. But more focus on the TE than we've had? Yes.

Don't jump to conclusions after one game. It was clear the gameplan was give Sims easy throws to the perimeter. That's why Coop and White did work.

Plus, the whole offense hasn't be installed. Howard will get his.

He was also banged up more most of the early season. Turf toe, etc.

Predict Cooper's final numbers. Use 13 games.

He had 12 catches for 130 yards in the opener.

I'll give him 84 catches for 1260 yards and 7 TDs

97 catches, 1380 yards, 9 TDs

if my WR2 in fantasy puts these numbers up, I'll be in fapmode central
