My thoughts exactly. I think we will be better off without him, if we aren't already. Don't need underachievers.

@GeoffMosherCSN: Taylor Hart over Damion Square. Square was "light years" ahead, but Hart was drafted, went to Oregon.

That really sucks for Square.
Hope Hubbard enjoys watching games from the couch this year.

I assume Jesse Williams is safe in Seattle?

Williams missed all of last season with a broken hand. During the offseason, the Lions converted him from a tight end to an offensive tackle.
No wonder he got cut.

Former #Eagles DL Damion Square claimed off waivers by the #Chiefs, according to @JosinaAnderson.

I liked the move. He isn't an NFL TE. He's a great blocker and got up to 300lbs. Trying him at Tackle made sense.

Didn't realize he'd gotten that heavy.
You're right, he was a great blocker for us. But i think it's quite a stretch to ask a guy to switch from a blocking TE to an offensive tackle, a position he's never played, in the NFL.

Well off the top of my head I know Jason Peters was a TE in college and has been an all-pro OT in the NFL. I'm fairly certain there have been others somewhat recently but none to that level of success.
