ATHENS, Ga. — Todd Gurley and Jeremy Pruitt are why this could be a special season for Georgia. They're why Georgia can win the SEC. They're why Georgia -- not Alabama, not Auburn and not someone else in the dominant SEC West -- could be the SEC's first representative in the College Football Playoff.

I love that Georgia can dominate while minimizing risk. Mason didn't need to do very much but he is capable of much more if needed.

That second half was special. Amd I feel we are just touching the yip of the iceberg with Chubb. If Mason and the receivers click just a bit better we are the favorites. Shhhhh....

Not many penalties. At least no real costly ones. I can think of one on a 3rd down that gave Clemson a first. Otherwise, this was a major improvement from early games last year.

Rewatched game this morning. Definitely more good than bad but still room for improvement if we want to be one of the four.

I will give our D the first half as a warm up. After that excellent play except that while our DBs were around the ball ( better than last year) they are still playing catchup with their heads turned away from the ball. Need ball awareness.

Offense rushing was awesome. After watching Murray last year we all got a look at an adequate but mediocre passing game. But truth is it was enough to open the run lanes.

Worst part of the game was not the first half. It was the third quarter when the D gave us possession after possession with no offensive results.

Finally our depth and our O line wore them down. Teams will have to be deep to hang with us thuis year. I expect a lot of forth quarter points!
