Sorry South Carolina peeps on this board, I couldn't help myself.
There are some gems in here especially from Gamecocks1137. To be fair though, there were a good number of cocks defending k. hill, or at least open to the possibility that he might be decent.

Cockytalk is renowned for being a super homer board that doesn't take kindly to dissent.
With that said I recognize, and I think most Gamecocks on this board would too, that the game was a mix of Hill's great play and our atrocious defense.
Looking at the rest of the season it looks like we're going to have to do what A&M has done the last couple of years and win games with 40+ points because our defense isn't stopping anyone.
A&M fans should and deserve to be optimistic about their offensive situation and having Hill as their QB for the future. With that said A&M's secondary looks like it has some work to do as well.
All and all if any Gamecock fan doesn't admit that we got our butts kicked then he or she is just accepting of the truth.
eta: With all of that said you would think being in A&M would make the loss worse because I see the celebration and the logo everywhere.. but it's actually quite nice. A&M and SC aren't rivals so no one is hostile and everyone is in such a good mood.

Until one side or the other does something horrific I'd expect that to be the norm. For what it's worth, the USC fans we met were fantastic, before and after the game.

Yes, the rant rivalry of the last couple of weeks on here is completely fabricated and isolated. Sure there was some yelling and counter yelling at the state house but I only heard good things from both sides.
Heard about some A&M fans going out and being approached by several Gamecock fans before the game and wishing them well and good luck.
Also heard from some servers around here about how great the A&M customers were.

What I've seemed to notice across the conference is that all the smack talk, trolling, and bluster doesn't supercede Texan or Southern hospitality at the end of the day.
