Me too. What's even cooler is that they failed making clones off these shoots a couple years ago because there was still too much herbicide present. But there were able to get a couple going later on that worked. And it's rolling now.

I bought one of the seedling back in 2010 as a Christmas present. Great gift...until my brother (who received the tree) moved

But yes, this is very cool.

Yeah they were cloned a couple of years ago. And contrary to the article, not all the early clones failed. As far as I know, 4 sets lived. Pat Dye has one set. Tim Hudson has one set and a friend of our family in baldwin county has a set. Not sure what happened to the last set. These were sold awhile back for 8K per set. These trees should be 4-5 feet tall by now. This is fact.
