Robinson at NG is brilliant. Best DL in the nation imo.

With a wealth of talent at DE we were lacking a dominant NG with Ivory and Lake. Enter A'Shawn Robinson and now we are like 5 star across the board. Bama DL=Stacked!

I was truly hoping for this move. The pressure should be good up the middle and Pett and Allen can set the edge on the outside. On certain packages if the opposition has a 3rd and short imagine, Robinson, Reuben, DePriest stuffing the middle...

yep let 86 take the double, blitz Rueb with his speed and TD sift through the traffic and peel off the extra blocker & be there to scoop & score when Rueb's vicious hit jars the ball loose

I approve of this move. Massive athletic guy who can actually affect the qb from the nt positron, and some guys at de who can really get after it. Im stoked. Add in some edge rusher olbs and teams won't have much time to throw. All of the starting dline are as atletic as guys 30lbs lighter

This may be the first time we really see our dline intimidate opponents as opposed to our linebackers. Which is good given the lack of depth we have at LB

It looks like both Ivory at NT and Reed at DE are still having to work their way up the depth chart after their suspensions. Remember both were 1st string in the spring

This might be the best D-Line we have had in long, long time. I am still worried about the outside linebacker position. Though help is on the way and Dickson and Devall have shown to be very good against the run, but I still worry about how we will fare against spread offenses.

I love the move. A'Shawn is the first real pass rush threat we've had from the Nose. And he can hold his own against a double team and then shed those SOBs to make a tackle against the run.

The CBs are gonna look a lot better by default because of this DL.

Remember, if we ever get a 3 man line of Allen, Robinson, and Hand, then the entire DL in the game will be five star recruits.

Free Shoes had that last year with Mario Edwards Jr.,Timmy Jernigan, and Eddie Goldman.

I hope we can get some push against some of these high powered offenses. You have to get negative plays against those kinds of teams.

I see this lighter lineup as a reaction to the HUNH and spread teams we will face. If Ivory and Reed work their way back from the doghouse, it wouldn't surprise me to see it go back to the Robinson, Ivory, Reed lineup we saw in the spring against the LSUs and Arkies of the world.

Not being a Debbie Downer, but we'll probably be in a 3 man front for 3 snaps in the game Saturday.

Good. The more DL we have on the field the better.

I wanna see this line at least once (though I know I won't):

Allen-Pettway-Robinson-Hand

I know he's in the doghouse, but I want to see Tim Williams firing off the snap and getting into the backfield.

Saban trolls WVU, trots out Evans/Williams on the first play.
