What is a funny interview response by a coach that you remember?

One of the funniest for me was when Tommy Tuberville said he would only leave oxford in a pine box and then the next day he was taking in the scenery on the Plains. The aircraft he took to Auburn was made out of white oak so in case you're wondering, he lied.

Q: Coach, what have you been working on in practice this week?

A: Mostly working on the kicking game.

Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, prior to the 1972 Iron Bowl (AKA "Punt Bama Punt")

Richt and Bowden before the 03 Sugar Bowl

Bowden: "well I know mark pretty well. I figure we'll probably see a good bit of the out route"

reporter: "anything you want to add about the game?"

Richt: "Looks like we'll need to run the out and up"

"Smile!"

Seriously though, that was a sad day in Arkansas Football but also everyone later found out his brother had died that morning and in lunatic fashion he was trying to be diversionary.
