I think the preferred route is Gradtransfer, JUCO then HS kid. Whoever can have immediate impact and short term obligation is attractive as well

Hopefully, whoever we land will be more ready than Reed appeared to be all season.

Of course, this new big guy will also have an entire summer under his belt and not be thrown into the season just before Christmas break.

Grad big. Will take a HS big if we don't like the grad pool.

That's assuming whoever we get doesn't have to do summer work to get qualified. Basketball recruits are just as suseptable as football recruits in terms of needing summer work to get qualified sometimes.

I thought I'd mention that Anton Gill is transferring from Louisville. He's a 6'-3" shooting guard from Raleight. He was ranked #50 overall in his class (2013).

I'd imagine he'll have to sit out a year like Canty just did. He'll be available for the 2016-17 season.

Unless AU is completely blown away by him I don't see us being interested. We're pretty full at guard & I don't see Bruce taking another guard that has to sit at this point. The staff is already projecting a small class for 2016 as it is, 2-3 total.

Saw this nugget from Skip Jansen FWIW.

Another thing that is obvious, is that our staff is looking high and low for multiple 'bigs'.

Yes. That means more than 1. In our case my guess is it means 2 if they find 2 they like.

Well. Gene served it up. I'm gonna swing on one hung right down the middle of the plate.

This really isn't a surprise. I would love to see him in an Auburn uniform next season.

It looks like Adam Zagoria tweeted the list. We're on there with a bunch of big names.

So can we infer that BP doesn't expect much from Reed next year?
