So I'm guessing none of our guys played in the McDonald's game?

& was a big key in holding the other team to only 17 points in the 2nd half.

Y'all do realize that our BEST player next year will be Danjel Purifoy and he has 1-and-done potential....

Granger will never play the 2...or 3 to be honest. Can't handle the ball well enough.

I think Spencer will be our best player, but irrelevant really.

I don't think Granger would ever play the 2 either, but I was just using that to show how completely different next season will be. Theoretically we could use that line up against a taller team, but it was more just to show the versatility our roster will have. Harris could play more of a flex 3 if needed.

On the remote possibility we have the 5 in your OP on the court at the same time Harris would be the 2 & Granger the 3 due to Harris being much better offensively.

Probably. I just had Granger at the 2 due to his athletic ability, and ability to probably guard a 2 better than Harris. They can be interchangeable though.

That kid cannot move well and almost for can not guard the 2 better than Tobias Harris.

both positions require similar defensive skill sets. Regardless Harris is better than JG in nearly every concievable way in basketball including athletic ability.

He was the best player on our roster this year by all accounts

I'm always leery when I see this thrown around. I'm not singling you out because I've seen a lot of people who watch practice say it too but people said the same thing about Noel Johnson and KT. They were right in KT's case but Noel wasn't even close to the best player on our team. I don't doubt that Canty was our best PG and would have made our team much much better but he is going to have to be really special to fill KT's shoes.

Canty averaged 16 points and 5.5 assists per game on a tournament team. As a freshman. It's definitely possible that he was our best player or at least equal to KT

Both Johnson and KT played sparingly and weren't featured players on their old teams. Canty at least performed at a high level before Auburn and has continued that through practice.

Johnson was the promise of athleticism while Canty seems more like demonstrated athleticism.

The only tourney Marshall played in in 13-14 was the C-USA tourney. His team went 11-22, finished 2nd to last in C-USA and he shot under 40% from the field. I hope he is as good as KT but I'm going to have to see it for myself first.

They both played in the ACC on decent teams. Canty played for Marshall who finished 2nd to last in a 1 bid league. Again I'm not rooting against Canty but we need to keep the expectations for him realistic.

Horace Spencer had a rough semifinal game against Montverde last night. Played just 10 minutes and fouled out with 2 points and 2 rebounds.
