On another note Shaq Anthony walked into Dabo's office this morning and quit the team.

Was 2nd string, but....

Anthony played 503 snaps last year and had 3 starts. Losing him is a pretty big deal, especially when the guy starting (Gore) has been injury prone and the guy who started last year (Timothy) had to quit football.

He will. This is all Richt trying to get in Dabo's head not letting him know our personnel.

I think it's more Richt, Pruitt, and Ekeler trying to get in Wilson's head. "If you don't bust your arse, Reggie Carter is ready and willing to take your spot."

Yes it's a huge deal and the timing is odd, Anthony was back up for both OT's.

They are wigging out over in the enemy camp about it right now.

More to the story here than we are being told I'm sure....

^This. Have to wonder if he is going to become another casualty of the no excuses, hard working new coaches...

Just pure speculation, but with everything being all warm and fuzzy coming out of Athens, especially with the talking heads at ESPN drinking some red and blackberry Kool-Aid, I wonder if Richt is trying to shake things up a little.

Perhaps he realizes what happens when the players start believing the hype. I don't have to remind you gentlemen of that. Of course like Crowe said above, it might be purely something to motivate Ramik.

Deftinetly motivation and a little hesitant to throw him back out there coming off a concussion. If he's as good as everyone says he will work his way back to his starting spot. Also it goes to show how this defensive staff is not showing favoritism. I think it's great for depth I like Reggie carter

I don't care who plays as long as the best 11 are out there. It appears that was not always the case under the former regime. This just struck me as odd since we are a week from game time.
