Sims leading? Coker not as good as advertised? No game film on both so can't be waiting till game to make WV wait... We have ourselves a battle of the gumps folks.

By game two, just like in 2011.

Henry's gonna run the wildcat all year.

Bama never won an NC with a black qb, yo.

Never. Going to the wishbone. Kenyan Drake will make your asses quit.

No one know other than it will be figured out before Florida. I wouldn't be surprised if they let it go into week two and then have a firm starter in week three. Sims will likely get the start against WVU, but that is likely more of a reward for hard work than a sign of who is leading. They will both be splitting time with the first team. Recent reports are saying Coker is starting to settle in nicely, but I doubt we will get any sort of detailed reports. It also seems like Sims is much improved.

You Auburn people are parasites. All you do all day is post threads about Alabama. Sorry we're your Superbowl.

IDGAF just throw bubble screens to OJ Howard. This dude blew past LSU's DBs.

It's not a controversy dumbass. It's the battle to replace a three year starter. Please tell me you understand this?

Sims leading?
Of course. He's the fifth year player. Did you really think Coker was gonna come in and be the guy from day one? Saban will make both players earn it.

Depends how you think he was advertised? By us? We said he had the talent to maybe one day become pretty good, but there is no guarantee he ever realizes his potential. Do you mean the hype surrounding him that you all created yourselves and blame us for? Well I doubt he's that good.
Anyway, the battle won't be settled in practice. Sims will start vs WVU, both will play like in 2011. It may go through the FAU game. It may also go through the Southern Miss game. Ideally, it's settled after the WVU game. But it definitely will be settled in time for Florida to come to town.
Based on comments from Saban, the guys from ESPN who watched practice, and some people close to the team, Coker is starting to settle in and it's becoming more and more apparent that he's more talented than Sims. It's starting to seem obvious that Coker will take the job by the Florida game. I hate it for Sims, because he's one of my favorites and he's a good athlete who has really worked hard and improved as a QB. He can still win it though, but we won't know anything about either player until the Florida game, imo.

According to most gumps Coker had it in the bag as soon as he stepped on campus.. Now care to answer the original question?

Where's the thread by a Bama fan about who will be the Auburn starting tailback? Oh there isn't one because we don't give a frick.
Sorry beating Bama is more important than any thing else. But with a shitty of a history as Auburn has it is kind of understandable.

Nothing unusual. .AJ didn't lock down the starting job until the Penn State game

I'm not aware there's a "controversy", just a situation where Bama is trying to replace a 3 year starter. I dont expect Aubs to understand this. In fact I'm having a hard time remembering the last time AU had the luxury of starting the same QB in consecutive years.....
