My thoughts exactly. Just insane. This started the best 3 weeks of football ever for me.

I watched a replay of the Iron bowl the other night and Verne and Gary were talking about how impossible it would be to make that game better...this was with about 1 minute to go.

I started laughing...wife says "What?" I just said...watch this motherfrickers...

As a fan used to seeing the team he is rooting for choke, it was incredibly awesome to see Auburn pull those games out. I might become an optimist if I'm not careful.

I remember talking to my Alabama fan friends before the ib. They said they were glad we got that amazing play out of the way at the uga game so it wouldnt happen to them.

How did that work out

Murray did not score, but Holland blocked the view.

Overall impressions of the game, we dominated the first half, second half not so much. I think this is why we are focussing on passing the ball more.

On the radio broadcast, Rod said something coming out of the commerical break following the game-tying Coates TD that I immediately agreed with. He said, "In the week following the miracle against Georgia, the hype for this game was probably the biggest I'd ever heard, not just for an Iron Bowl but for any college football game I can remember. I said in the pregame show today that I just couldn't imagine the actual game ever living up to that hype. Well, no matter what happens in the next 32 seconds, or overtime if we get to that, win or lose, this game has not only lived up to the hype, but surpassed it."

And then...........

I watched the jack Crowe call of the UGa game again last night.

That was the most epic call prior to a play ever.

Everything he said, not just saying it would be Louis.

Saying it wouldn't be Coates because Coates catches it with his body. Saying nick would pick his guy in the huddle. Saying the throw would be into coverage. Then he just matter of factly says. Louis. It's going to him.

I just watched it on youtube again and I sure hope this year they don't have the holes on defense. If the defense plays strong and the offense is the same or better, it could be like UF in its heyday... which was like 20 years ago now. I guess I'm old, I actually watched Spurrier as the HC of UF walk up and down the sidelines at JHS and Auburn never ever had a chance back then.

As to UGA, incredible game until the 4th for the offense, what I don't get is why it looked like the UGA defense didn't struggle much to stop Auburn on the last drive? They owned us until the pass.Yet this same offense did great against better defenses in Alabama, Missouri and FSU. What changed after that UGA game?
