From an article by Seth Emerson:

quote:

Brandon Kublanow was working with the first team at left guard. The rest of the first team was as expected: Left tackle John Theus, center David Andrews, right guard Greg Pyke and right tackle Kolton Houston.

Are we potentially looking at an all-white starting OL?

I like the projected line up. So does Cardiello get the nod at center after Andrews leaves or will Kubs or Wynn slide over?

I believe Wynn is the heir apparent for Center after Andrews leaves.

So, if there is any weakness, it'll be at tackle.

The guard position will be solidified for the next few seasons between Kub, Wynn, and Pyke. No comment on the tackles.

Ben Cleveland can play LT and LG at the same time.

I'm hopeful about Dyshon Sims and Kendall Baker as OT prospects

ETA: as well as 2015 commits Pat Allen and Sage Hardin

Serious question, if Cleveland was at UGA right now, not 2016 Ben Cleveland after he finishes high school, but rising junior Ben.... Would he start? I think so.

No. Physically he could do it but he's very raw in his technique

Sorry to get OT here, but are Eason and Cleveland EE's?

No way. The guy is good but c'mon...you're talking about a 15 year old high schooler playing one of the most difficult and important positions on the field. Not to mention he'd have to beat out Junior/Senior players that have been in a college program for years and have actual starting experience.

There are very, VERY few guys as rising juniors in HS who could perform moderately well in the SEC. AJ Green is one.

A little early to know that for sure, but my guess is Eason will definitely try to be since he's a QB
