Went to the annual Fan Day/Gump Run. Sims looks to be the team leader so far at QB. He made some good throws he was accurate and you can tell he's put in a lot of off season work and showed good command of the offense. Lead every drill and was carrying himself like a starter... there is a noticeable gap between he and others.. Coker has a really strong arm but threw about 4 ints in scrimmage situations. He may be the truth in time but Coker won't likely beat out Sims.

Bama's D looks scary good, size speed combos are off the charts. Got a punter that can boom it 60 yds but also shanked a couple.

If Coker starts over Sims, will it divide the team iyo?

Saban has been dropping hints. I personally would like to see Blake get the job, he has earned it if he is good enough.

Blake must be a practice warrior. In scrimmages and games he throws wounded ducks. Hopefully that isn't the case anymore.

Shocking that you think Sims would win the QB battle. Go defend Anthony Grant somewhere.

This guy BamaStepL doesn't know what he's talking about.

Sims didn't throw one spiral pass until the ball got wet then he did ok. Coker threw the ball a lot better and controlled the offense better. Sims has made some progress, but his passes more than 15 yards were off.

Bateman shows signs of light but he's just not that big and his arm isn't that strong, seems to know the game a little, he reminds me a lot of McElroy.

Morris threw the ball as hard as Coker but a lot of his throws were off, "I didn't particularly like his throwing motion."

If it were me I would put my stock right now in Cornwell in two years assuming Coker works out and stays two. JMHO... ......
