With UGA and UF bouncing back from injuries and UTenn hopefully starting to pull out of the rut they've been in, and of course USCe continuing with their strong seasons, does Mizzou even have a chance at repeating at SEC East Champs?

Depends on how bad the east shits itself.

That division is like Russian roulette.

Yes. They have a chance. Just like we do and just like Florida does and just like South Carolina does.

They have the easiest schedule of all the contenders but the most production to replace. Not sure you can say there's much of a difference between Mizz-UGA-USC-UF. Too many questions for all the teams. I will say I'd be most surprised with Mizzou winning it over the other three.

I count 3 to 4 losses on the horizon.

No. It may be awhile for them, before they do it again ... decades even.

The East is tougher than people give it credit for being. It's probably the second toughest football conference in the country.

Probably this season. Best QB and DL in the East.

Everybody has a chance on day one. Except Arkansas. They are fricked.

The East will have some good match ups and won't be a cakewalk for any team. Mizzou could finish anywhere from 4th to 1st in the east, as could UGA, SC and UF.

Should be fun to watch it unfold!

Unproven is the word I would go with.

They have a chance. But three of their big division games are road games (USCe, UF, and UT). So I wouldn't put them as favorites.

Everyone has a chance right now. We are all 0-0.

Every team could suffer catastrophic injuries but UK and they might win it...

...ah hell, never mind.

No chance Mizzou makes it back. In fact I heard GP told the troops to just stay home on Saturdays this fall.

You guys and your crying about injuries. It's as if Mizzou's first year in the SEC was injury free and that our starting QB played every conference game for us last year.

We're not even pre-seasoned rank, therefore we have no chance.

I really don't think SC is going to lose that many but I could be wrong.
