Usually stop by Zeb's in Danielsville but won't be coming thru until around 9 Friday night. Any suggestions on where to purchase some Saturday morning before the tailgate begins. Expecting around 10 to 12....half will be Clempson buddies. Thanks.

I'm at North Deck/North Campus...pretty sure no grills unless they have gotten rid of those fricking stupid rules.

This. The meat needs to rest, anyway. Smoke the Boston Butt/Brisket/etc., wrap that baby up in foil and put it in a styrofoam cooler for several hours, and take it with you to tailgate.

Problem solved. I take PayPal.

I echo this

Put it on the smoker the night before. Or pay one of us and have the best BBQ ever

Butt Hutt is pretty solid if you're in Athens.

Fresh Air has a squishy texture and boiled flavor to me, lots of people like it but i guess im a bbq snob. Id rather pick up a box of fried chicken from popeyes than a pound of q from fresh air.

I haven't had it I'm a few years but I thought it was fantastic the last time. My favorite bbq is outside of Macon

I'll sell you as much as you'd like for $10 lb. I'll throw in buns and bbq sauce too.

If I was in Savannah id go by Smokeys in Garden City before I headed out. Imo, the best bbq in the state.

Best in Athens. Not that it's saying much but it's good. Protip: sliders are only a dollar and not on the menu. 3 of those is way more food than a sandwich that is usually 5 bucks or so
