Lobster Mini-Season is upon us!

It's a cash boom for the Key's and just amazing how much people will spend for 6 lobsters a day.

how's the weather? I saw a storm front this morning down in florida and was just telling my wife that I'm glad we werent there. We are coming down for regular season and stone crab in october instead this year

I'm not down this Summer either (rented the place out) I talked with my Realtor this morning and she said its was double what it was last season and her husband was camped out on their sea wall keeping poachers off it with his pellet gun...

yes, hundreds of better seasoned bits of deliciousness vs one large delicious tail. I do enjoy tossing a few lobster in with boiled crawfish

Threads like this make me feel like an outsider...we have morel season, and deer season but definitely no lobster season

You know pompano beach isn't in the keys. F a Florida lobster... I'd rather spend my time skrimping. 5 gallons of shrimp is a frick ton more crustacean meat than 6 lobster.
