Serious question

After being in the SEC for 2 years has your opinion of the SEC changed. Did you have a natural Big12 bias before joining and what is your opinion now. I know all conferences tend to favor their own so I was just wondering how you guys feel with the experience of being a former member and what your perception is currently.

Also, my opinion of both teams is that both programs have stepped up and made themselves a part of the proud tradition. Welcome to the SEC.

My thoughts are forever frick the Big 12. We should have never been in that conference and should have joined the SEC with Arky.

I always hated the Big 12. It had a real incentive to marginalize us as much as possible to make sure nothing threatened the conference cash cow.

The SEC wants to build us up to have a legitimate stake in the state. Feels great to have a real partner.

I like Mizzou better than Kentucky, Arky, or Vandy.

Maybe even Moo State

Because of Missouri's location we are similar to the Big 12, B1G, and SEC equally. The only difference is we have a stronger professional team influence than most teams which steals fans from Mizzou, but that is slowly changing...

You will see us compete in the SEC probably for a long time because of our proximity to both STL and KC, plus being the northern most team we have good access to northern recruits who may want to play in the south.

Also, it's fricking called soda! Not coke! Coke is a type of soda! You don't say to someone, "that's a nice Ford you have" if they drive a fricking Chevy! IDIOTS!

If by tea you mean unsweet tea (you can never tell in the south), then I agree 100%.

I'm a traditional guy (I go back to the Big 8) so initially I wasn't a big fan of the move UNTIL the closer it got and the Longhorn Network came out and how TX & somewhat OU were treating everyone else in the conference like their hos. The money distribution was bad, how the other schools were treated was even worse so once the move became official....FRICK the big12!!!!

I like sweet tea but I am going to try and switch to unsweet. I tried some recently (Hot Tea) and it wasn't half bad.

No, don't miss the Bevo12 at all. The move was a huge step and the competition forced us to raise our game a couple of notches. I've been a big high school and college fan since 84 and I've always been a Hershel Walker fan. I'm buying a 60" Panasonic LED on the 15th of August just so I can watch the launch of the SEC network and I'll be in Columbia for the game against the Dawgs. Really wanted to go to Athens last year and check out the wome....I mean the campus. Heard UofG campus has nice scenery.

What about in terms of conference power relative to the Big12. I know the Big 12 has good football teams and good programs but how do you feel it stacks up and how did you feel about the Big12 back in the day when reading about how strong the SEC was in comparison to other conferences when we went on the title run?

I've only been to a few games the last few years. The ratio of beautiful southern women to men in Athens is perfect. It's a fun place to have a good time.

If you need to blow your nose, do you ask for a Kleenex or tissue paper? It's the same thing.

Do you use the port-a-potty or the portable toilet?

Is it a crapper or toilet?

People use the brand name to refer to all products of that type everywhere.

Unless one of the b12 teams is playing Bama, they don't stack up at all.

I think the biggest difference is wide open offenses in the b12 (well that's changing fast). Almost every game by the better teams is a track meet. Baylor averaged over 52 a game last year. Unless you're playing D2 schools that's putting a ton of points on the board!

The SEC fans are more knowledgeable (except those on this site) and there's more league loyalty in the SEC; the SEC dickrides better than anyone
