Unless they get their tubes tied, you should assume that they'll all change their minds.

Two months ago she said that she never wants to have kids. This is one of the main reasons I am dating her.

She wakes me up while I am napping yesterday...tells me that it is on the table now and asks me what I am thinking.

frick this shite.

Break down in an emotional fit about how you're sterile and how that has been so devastating for you and somewhat emasculating.

Or get her a dog from a rescue...that should stymy the baby cravings.

Or the honesty thing, but really, frick that shite.

I think the mature thing to do is get caught having sex with a hooker.

How many times has a girl told you she can keep it casual?
How many times has that failed miserably?
How many times do women change their minds?
How many chemicals flow through the brains of the female species?

The answer is..... A LOT!!!!!!!

The secret to what women want is...... /Shrug

Even they don't know! You will never be as miserable as when you try to give a women everything she wants. There are way too many personalities inside that skull to satisfy.

Absolutely. Bonus points if the working lady is giving you a rusty trombone when you actually get caught.

Part of the reason I got out of my last relationship was because I had changed my mind on marriage and kids. For a long time I didn't want either. That changed for me though after some big life events, so it wasn't exactly one of those "woke up one morning and BAM" things.

Once I knew that those were things I didn't want to compromise on, I ended the relationship.

As said above, get her a dog.

That should buy you a few more years.

How long have you been dating her? Maybe she thinks you're The One, and that's made her change her feelings on the idea of kids. She couldn't see herself having them before, but can see herself having them with you.

Tell her you were administered a toxin that killed all of your little baby makers back in your secret agent days .... and that even if one managed to still be viable and fertilize one of her eggs the baby would like come-out with a tail and wings.

She'll be sympathetic and let you off the hook.

Ouch. That's going to be a tough situation for you. Have some of her close friends started having babies or something?

I think it was her brother having a kid. She really likes the niece. I was worried that this would happen, but I told myself that it would not.

How old is the niece? If she's an infant, you could always suggest a trial run. There's nothing like being woken up 4 times at night to make someone rethink having kids.

So are kids completely out of the question for you at anytime? Or are you just wanting to buy some more time?

I just assume that you need to be 100% on having kids if you are going to have one. I have never been 100%.

I wouldn't say that necessarily. I know more than a few couples who were uncertain about it, had kids, and things worked out alright.

You like 70/30 or something like that? My ex was absolutely a 0%er.
