Not enough OL's.

Why are we so behind the eightball on OL all the time?

We only have 1-2 OL spots left. The prime candidate to fill one of those is Patrick Allen, but he's from Maryland and probably won't make it this weekend. The last spot would only go to Minshew or Warmack, who are both likely to be there. Edoga is a +1 take at any time. We're not really behind the 8-ball.

Our OL problems are more an issue of talent level than numbers. We've got a few dead weight OLs hanging around on the roster.

Drives me nuts that people think we should take 10 OL every year.

You do understand how the numbers work out right?

Unfortunately, we've had some OL that didnt work out so well that are still on the roster. we have a decent 2 deep on roster right now and have a big 2016 OL coming.

Frankly, the OL and all offensive positions except WR (where we need immediate help) are taking a backseat this class. There's a clear attempt to overhaul the defensive roster, and that effort is taking priority in the numbers.

It's not about the number of OL, it's the quality.

Other than Big Ben, we consistently get average talent on OL every year. Even Theus has turned out to just be average.

Again, not quantity, but quality.

Didn't realize that Theus has ended his career at UGA...

Georgia signed three 4* OLs in 2014, have a 2 borderline 4* OLs committed now, lead for another, and are in pursuit of a USC 5* commit and an FSU commit.

Not sure what you're looking for. There are only a few sure thing 5* OL, and a lot of schools going after them.

Yes, but most of the OL's worth a damn come to Dawg Night if they're the least bit interested.

There's like 4 worth a shite that's listed, and two of them are committed elsewhere.

I know Ben is all Dawg, but there's 4 other positions on that OL it would be nice to consistently fill with 4* or better talent going at least two-deep across the line.

Our OL has been consistently average at best with starters and below average with depth for several years. If you want to sugarcoat it and act like that's not been the case, then that's your problem. But reality is we don't recruit OL worth a shite.

We have never had a problem with G and C play for the most part. We typically have very good guard play actually. We obviously do struggle with tackles, and I'm not sure why.

I meant not enough OL's coming to Dawg Night.

We're not going to sign every damn player coming, much less flip every player committed to another school who is too.
