Is the multiple uniform thing becoming passé ?

Haven't seen many new uniforms coming out this year. The matte finish is becoming stale and I think black and grey unis are no longer cool. These multiple uniforms look desperate and scream "hey look at me. Our program sucks but we hopefully our uniforms make us relevant. So does UK, Tennessee, miss state, Missouri have any new looks for this year? There are only a few classic uniforms in the sec. Alabama, auburn, ole miss, UGA, lsu, Florida, and at one time Tennessee , should IMO never change their uniforms.

that gray UT uniform isn't a part of their regular rotation. it was no different than lsu, florida, and uga wearing nike pro combats over the years. also ole miss used several different horrible alternates throughout the entire season last year. you can thank hugh freeze for that. trying to ruin one of the best looking uniforms in college football
also, not sure what you're talking about in your OP. i see new uniforms revealed every other day for teams around the country. outside a few of the big traditional programs (and even many of them do it), teams change their uniforms every year

We had some alternate jersey in 2010 against Miss State that wasn't too different than our standard uniform and that houndstooth collar jersey against Ole Miss in 2006. That's about as crazy as we get.
Wouldn't mind if we broke out the white helmet every now and then.

I guess if you want to call AU's unfinished leg stripe a "crazy uniform" then thats your prerogative, but AU has been one of the least changed uni's in the existence of the SEC. The orange jerseys were last toyed with over 30 years ago

That's my point. Every team does it so I don't get the shot at the schools in the OP.
Also, I'm not a UGA fan.

invisible uniforms are next for all the sheep jumping in line to do whatever the shoe companies say. Those will definitely scream "look at me, my college has nothing going for it except the newest uniform variation"!
