Found out today that one of my good friends lost his fiance last night. 24 year old previously healthy, active girl who went to sleep and just never woke up. Waiting on autopsy but her father died of an arrhythmia in his 40s. It's devastating news.

Make sure you hug those you love, let them know how you feel every chance you get and don't take tomorrow for granted. None of us are promised tomorrow.

Ah, man. I'm sorry to hear that. It's a shame that we have such short lives, but I feel it's for the best sometimes.

Sorry to hear about your friend's fiancée. My condolences.

Had a similar thing happen to me this past week. One of my former upperclassmen from the Corps lost her son in a tragic drowning accident. Her son was 4

Craziest, most inspirational thing is how strong his mother has been. Really has put things in perspective for me this week. Her first Facebook post after her son passed after a brief fight in ICU was an APB asking for those who needed an organ donor. Ended up helping four or five people because of it.

There's a website where people can donate to the family if they're so inclined, if you wanna forward to friends. I didn't post on TexAgs for personal reasons.

RIP, Rico

Absolutely. It's sad that a lot of the time is takes a close loss for people to recognize this.

Word.

My family will never have a question how much I love them even to the point of annoyance and repetitiveness.

So sorry. Thinking about losing either of my kids would make me on the spot.

Wow, that's just awful. Makes you really appreciate what you have and forget the petty bullshite for a moment.

That's a real shame, to lose someone so unexpectedly and so young. Prayers for your friend and the families involved.

So sad.

I had a 25-year-old female staffer who was the typical good-looking, smart and upwardly mobile young woman any parent could be proud of. She went grocery shopping and fell dead in the bread aisle from an aneurysm. No prior symptoms whatsoever.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
