Can Tennessee turn things around on the road?

During the last six seasons (since 2008), Tennessee has defeated three teams in road games:
- Memphis
- Kentucky
- Vanderbilt
More than 2,000 days have gone by since a Tennessee football team beat a team of any halfway significance in a road game. The question is when do you think that the Vols will pick up another road win. My most realistic guess would be in 2015 against Connecticut. That is lining up to be a very interesting and competitive game. Should be interesting!

Shitty troll. Everyone knows what that program has went through and everyone knows butch Jones is addressing it. Tennessee was one play away from a bowl game last year.

Yeah, that's impressive. I read somewhere that they've never lost 8 games in a season either. Wild.

I think Tenn gives UGA a real shot this year (not that they didn't last year). Not sure if they'll get there, but it wouldn't surprise me if they get their signature win in Athens.

Tennessee might have a shot in Sanford Stadium in 2016 when all of their great and wonderful transcendent program-changing 555 star recruits have a little experience.
This season, naw not really. Average YPG during the three UGA/UT games in Sanford Stadium post-Fulmer: Georgia...473 and Tennessee... 319.
Tennessee is too young and inexperienced and has been sucking at a historical level in road games. Georgia is 19-1 in its last 20 home games and has a shite ton of returning players (3 of the 4 starting linebackers are on the one preseason watch thingy for the one award). The 2012 game was an outlier. Georgia was still getting its defensive players back from suspension and respected Tennessee about as much as Alcorn State or Western Carolina.

Do you not remember the last 2 years? We played you to the wire with inferior talent and depth. You can say what you want, but games are played on the field.

Georgia is the ultimate underachiever, and that trend will continue when Tennessee beats UGA this year.

I don't see TN being elite again but respectable? Sure.

Georgia, year-in, year-out, is one of the most talented teams in the country, but something always sets them back. Always have one or two losses to teams they shouldn't lose to. This year, that will be Tennessee.

Of course you do.
Not sure why you'd say that. Just one of my picks this year. UT pushes UGA, UF beats UGA, UF pushes Alabama, LSU beats Alabama, Arky beats LSU, Auburn crushes LSU, a Miss school beats Auburn, etc.

They couldn't beat us when we were 6-6. They won't beat us in Athens.

I'm anti-UGA but I don't really pick based on preference. I like you and LSU much better than Bama, but I'm still predicting both of you to have less successful seasons.

I think I'm giving you my prediction. Is that not allowed?

:kige:
Mark Richt will Mark Richt (or should I say UGA will UGA). They're guaranteed to have letdown games every year.
