One of the few positions star rankings don't matter is offensive line. Its so hard to tell how a player will grow and develop. 3 star linemen usually dominate the NFL draft.

The UT staff was very high on this kid at tackle after he camped.

That may be true, but a quick glance at this year's draft and every OL drafted in the 1st round was a 4* out of HS.

Greg Robinson - 4*
Jake Matthews - 4*
Taylor Lewan - 4*
Zack Martin - 4*
Ja'Wuan James - 4*

In 2013, you had

Eric Fisher- 2 star tightend
Luke Joeckel- 4 star ot
Lane Johnson- 2 star tightend
Jonathan Cooper- 3 star guard
Chance Warmack- 3 star guard
Dj Fluker- 5 star OT
Justin Pugh- 2 star Guard
Kyle Long- 3 star guard
Travis Frederick - 3 star center

That kind of proves my point lol, one year you had all 4 stars and the year before you had more 2 stars than 4 and 5 stars. Its a very hard position to rate

19 for now. Doug Matthews said 2 to 3 will be told to look around. Also said we're taking 24. So that would mean we have 7 to 8 spots left.

There will be attrition, probably around 5. You can already count off Jaylond Woods from the list

Honest question, no flame, but didn't you guys tell 2-4 to look around last year and if so are you worried that it will start to hurt you sooner or later?

Every program that is recruiting at a decent level does it. Just part of the game

Maybe UGA does things a little different. We've lost kids in our classes but it never comes across as us cutting them.

Many times it comes as a flip to another school, but in fact they were told to look around.

Nick Glass
He kept getting in trouble and was told to look elsewhere

Stanley Williams ...

Saw 2 5 stars coming in and got out while he could. Or maybe we told him to look around but it didn't come out that way.

He's right. Every school does it even UGA.

UGA probably does do it. We just don't seem to advertise it the way UT has last year and this year.
