what would Walker's numbers be if he played in our current, more balanced offense in a 12 game season?

would he be the greatest receiving RB of all time?
how many screen pass receptions would we see him romping down the field?..

It's hard to say. He'd get less carries, but his YPC would be higher. More receptions, so more receiving yards and TDs.

It's tough to tell how the rushing stats would have translated. Defenses were different then too.

He would be unstoppable. So would Bo Jackson. The defenses today are more athletic but these kids lack form and try to one arm tackle every thing. Imagine trying to do that with Bo Jackson and Hershal Walker. He would average over 10ypc.

See it's funny you say that b/c recently I was talking to a buddy of mine about our RBs. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Gurley and Chubb remind you of Walker and Jackson? Body type only...I wouldn't dare compare production. That'd be insanity.

But, wouldn't that be great if it turned out they were similar in production? I mean Gurley is capable...jury is still out on Chubb.

Mike Bobo would wear the wheel route out. Unstoppable.

Is it true that Richt is predicting both Gurley and Marshall will be gone after this year?

He didn't exactly predict it, but alluded to it in an AJC article when asked about this years RB recruiting.

Thanks.

I don't read that AJC crap so I haven't seen such. One of my friends was saying that he heard it.

Yea, I only read it for Braves/Falcons news, but sometimes a GA article catches my eye.
