Looking back, is there any doubt about why they added Mizzou?

100% about the SEC network. All those TV sets in Missouri, and jacking up the per customer price.

Mizzou was a great addition. The B1G was stupid for not taking them. I think Delaney was quoted recently as saying if he had to rethink alignment he would have grabbed KU and Mizzou. Grabbing Mizzou not only strengthens the SEC, it marginalizes the B1G and the Big 12 in the Midwest.

I agree. At first I hated the addition, but with the way the college landscape is changing, Missouri was a nice grab.

From what I've seen, good looking campus
respectable academics
solid additions for football, softball, volleyball, and hopefully basketball soon enough
large fanbase (nice market too $$)
When it gets to 16, just add Va. Tech and NC State and call it a day
