Mosul, a city in Northern Iraq, fell Tuesday.

Tikrit, the hometown of former leader Saddam Hussein, lies just 150km (95 miles) north of the capital Baghdad was the second city to fall in as many days.

Let them fricking have it. We don't need to spend any more time, money, and lives on a shite hole that we should have never started a war in to begin with.

I think the world should just build a wall around the middle east.

Agreed.

Stay out of there. Let them kill each other over religion for another thousand years. They don't attack us until we go over there and put our boot hill in that ant pile and piss them off.

That's great an all, but if we don't control these countries the economy collapses.

We went down a dangerous road, no one cared enough to become aware of what was going on, now we're stuck, we have to continue being involved militarily around the globe or it all implodes.

This isn't true. But I agree with the general sentiment of your post. No need to involve ourselves in that mess.

Nuke the motherfrickers. They're centralizing themselves in two areas...take advantage of it.

Why don't we nuke them back to the Jurassic? Then they'll all get eaten by dinosaurs.

Nuking a region that makes our false economy possible isn't a great idea. And the nationless elite of the world aren't going to drop a nuke on their goldmine.

Let the Sunnis and the Shiites fight it out. They hate each other as much as they hate us. Why fight them when all we have to do is stand back and watch them do it for us?

A lot of the guys who fought us are now in Syria (ISIS) and a lot of the guys left probably remember what it was like to have to hide in holes for a decade.

I doubt any new group will be like: Nah America, we ain't gonna play ball.

Concur.

Let them focus on each other.

Poison their poppy fields on our way out.

Irrelevant.

Where we get our oil has nothing to do with how the Middle East creates a false economy for the US.

Hint: What currency is oil sold in?
