Pennsylvania (Penn State & Pitt)

South Carolina (Clemson & USCe)

Indiana (Notre Dame & Indiana)

ALL make more sense than Oregon & Utah

I would argue NC & LA as well..

Georgia should be higher.
Not because of the University of Georgia.
But because there are probably more SEC alumni in this state than any other state (Florida might be the exception).

Auburn probably has more alumni in Georgia than in their home state (Clemson, too). You wouldn't believe how many Kentucky alumni live in ATL.

Not to mention Georgia is home to two storied programs with six national championships between them, the Kickoff Classic, SECCG, and Peach Bowl, COFH, half of the WLOCP rivalry, a longtime Div II powerhouse, the namesake of the NCAA's most sought-after individual award, and the soon-to-be-completed CFHOF. Georgia IS college football.
