Up to 8 verbal commits and a very solid class thus far.... kid from Tennessee committed yesterday.. he runs a consistent 4.3 40, timed by SPARQ, laser, various camps, etc...
Welcome to the flats my friend.
"He hits holes and is gone, one cut and upfield. He has demps,Harvin type speed with a 4.35,at this point that is a fact."

The talent gap has never been wider

Except he's white and we all know you have to adjust up at least 9/10s of a second for that factor.

He looks like he'll fit in nicely at GAy Tech.

A narrower gap is always a good thing. But the current gap between UGA and GT in football looks something like this:

NCAA athletes going pro in something other than sports

and it's early.
And that should scare the nerd out of you. If he is all-world, he will be getting offers from real schools in the near future and will jump at one of them.
If he's not then, well, he's yours to keep (unless Duke offers him or something).
But that's pretty much the state of tech recruiting. And, as someone pointed out above, the talent gap is only getting wider.
Sorry.

UGA will never have a problem keeping a wide recruiting with GT as long as Paul Johnson is there running the triple option.

Is this really the kind of player your team brags about?

Chris, he does not in any way shape or form run a consistent 4.3 40. I have no doubt that people may write that about him (and this is a widespread issue, not unique to this guy or GT by any means) but there isn't a 17 year old that can run an actual 4.3 40. At the NFL combine each year there is usually one, or maybe two players who go 4.3 or faster (2014 had exactly one, the last six years have had five total).
Somehow, all these rising high school seniors are magically faster than every player preparing for the NFL following their senior or junior year of college ball. Strange isn't it?
Reality, cold hard reality

Saw where GT lost a 3* QB/Athlete w/a GT offer to James Madison today from Pace Academy (surley he could qualify?), Kevin Johnson... LINK
