Third Team: David Andrews, Chris Conley

Pretty bad arse considering ALL of our linebackers are on the list, with two on the first team.

A bit troubling that only one of our offensive linemen made the four deep and that was our center who made third team.

Dang.

Gurley, Wilson, Floyd (2nd team) made his All-American list.

Not to mention that we have more listed from defense than offense. Bodes well for us. I really would not be surprised if Hutson mason doesn't end up as one of the top three QBs. I think Bobo will use him well, and build his confidence. Put him in a position to be successful. You get Gurley the ball on screen and swing passes, then throw the ball to Mitchell and Conley and let them break a few long ones....if we stay injury free we could have a very good year.

He had me until Damien Swann on any All-whatever team.

All credibility to evaluate talent lost at that point. And I usually like Phil.

I thought the same thing. Maybe he thinks swann just needs better position coaching and pruitt fits the bill.

Maybe he just doesn't know how to evaluate DB's because he had Jonathon Mincy on 2nd team and I don't think he's good at all.

Do the other 11 teams not have a punter?

Swann had a case for 3rd team All SEC two seasons ago while in the slot/nickel.

The talent is stil there. And he's physically more mature.
Preseason lists mean nothing. There is nothing wrong with putting him up there now.

Fret not. The OL has been average to below average for years now and we still seem to put up big numbers on O.

I would much rather have an above average OL. Especially starting with a QB that does not have much game experience

Pruitt seems to like Swann. Maybe we could see Swann return to '12 form.

Hopefully ol' Phil sees something we don't.

Which makes you wonder how/why there are so many defensive players on Steele's list...

Curious to see how high Steele places the Dawgs.
