1. John L. Smith
2. Derek Dooley
3. Gene Chizik
All 3 were awful but at least John was funny to watch and had memorable moments.

quote:Gus Malzahn is to thank for the BCS and SEC Championships... 8 wins in 2009, 14 wins in 2010, 8 wins in 2011, and 12 wins in 2013... Auburn has averaged 10.5 wins per season with Gus Malzahn on staff.

Without Gus Malzahn, Gene Chizik's team went 3-9 (0-8) in 2012.

He was the Mike Dubose of Auburn Tigers football who just happened upon better talent. Cam Newton and the seniors on that team willed Auburn to a national title in 2010. Subtract that 14-0 season from his record and you have a coach with a 19-19 record in his other three seasons.

Based off their accomplishments in the SEC.
1. Mark Stoops
2. Bert
3. JLS
One of Chizik's 8-5 seasons was more than Stoops, Bert, Smith, Joker, Dooley, Butch, and Kiffin has/had accomplished in the SEC.
