Since the baseball team just laid a gigantic turd lets look ahead towards the football season

I see 9-3 with losses @Auburn, @UF and either @Clemson or UGA at home.

10-2. Loss at Auburn and a loss to one of either Georgia, Florida or Clemson. That's my optimistic prediction but I could see yours happening as well. We've got a tough slate this year.

For a job or for inward soul searching?

I say 9-3 also.

11-1

Loss @ Auburn

Call me optimistic. I could just as easily see 9-3 though with losses to Florida and Georgia as well.

No better than 10-2 I'm afraid. I do however think we keep our home winning streak alive. A&M and Mizzou won't be what they were last year. Gotta beat UGA and I see that streak going to 25.

We're going 12-0, of course!!! Until our first loss, then we'll go 11-1... and so forth, and so on...

Veteran QB, veteran RB, veteran OL, 1 star WR. We're going to win this year old school style.

For the record, I want to see a lot of 2 TE sets and have us play patriot style ball. I think Dylan could really thrive in that kind of role as a QB

Seems like we've been saying this for a few years now without ever seeing much from our TEs. I don't expect this year to be much different especially with Anderson possibly out the whole season.

It really is a crying shame because we have such talented TEs

Kentucky scares the shite out of me. That's a classic letdown if there's ever been one.

Like I said on the main board, I think we'll be 10-2. Losses to Auburn (cos, well, yeah) and UF. Sitting at home in December again.

Floor: 7-5
Ceiling: 11-1

So many unknowns this year w/ UF (new OC, fewer injuries), UGA (new QB, heavy defensive attrition and shake-ups, new DC), Mizzou (lotta new faces incl. QB), A&M (new QB, a WTF defense) & Clemson (new QB, new skill players). Auburn ought to be at or near the level they played at last year.

We get a BYE and a Furman tune-up before @AUB but they also get a BYE before us. UGA gets a BYE before us, too. Mizzou at home and A&M early helps us out.

I think a 2 conference loss team represents the East this year. UF has to play Bama and LSU from the West; Mizzou plays @UF, @A&M, & @USC; UGA has @USC, @Mizzou, and plays AUB at home. If we lose to UF/AUB I think we still have a strong shot at going to ATL w/ us likely beating UGA in a tiebreaker.

Oh, and I think UT will be absolutely terrible this year. I do not seem them pulling a 2013 Mizzou and taking advantage of a fractured East to make a run. We oughta take the opportunity to put up 50 on them.
