I thought this might have been posted months ago but no, it was made today. We weren't good this year but I won't say fire a guy after one season.

So you read the rumors on 24/7 also?

If we fire Galloway then we deserve to get a shite hire

Why would he leave a cushy upper middle class job like Samford to come to the dumbster fire of Auburn baseball.

really wish the administration would do their homework on making a hire like golloway... seems like if you talked to anyone at OU who had any dealings with the man they'd tell you he's a jackass.

So you want an up-and-comer over a coach that's proven he can get teams to super regionals at the highest level?

Maybe Golloway and Auburn aren't the right fit. I don't know. But what I do know is that all this clamoring for Casey Dunn is ridiculous.

I guess the lawsuits are going to give them a reason to fire him this early without looking bad. If they are looking to go that route.

There's fire. The players met with the Assistant AD to Jacobs for baseball specifically on what their thoughts were about Golloway. And I'd say only a select few didn't ask for his dismissal.

Typo but fitting for what we have when Jay Jacobs makes a hire without help

Golloway may be a prick. I have no idea. I do know his resume is second to none, as far as our entire athletic dept.. I hope Auburn doesn't let him go after one year. What decent coach would want to take our job after that?
