He's not wrong. There is holding on every play. Visible holding. Most refs only throw flags when it's a bad hold. We've always taught good holding techniques.

They were good, but it doesn't hurt that Johnny had around three plays worth of movement to watch and distract the refs.

They throw flags when they want to. That is the most direct way to say it.

I was always taught that if your hands stay inside your shoulders you'll never be flagged.

If you keep your hands inside you can hold all you want



Notice how his hands are still inside but he has the AU defender on outside? Probably didnt get call for that.

Bad hold



Hands outside, and reaching for a defender who has passed him already.
