Maybe you should know the Chiefs needs before spouting off. The most pressing need was WR, and the ones they felt were worthy of their pick was off the board.
Tamba Hali is getting old and injury prone now, Dee Ford will take over just fine for him in another year or so. Another big time weakness was the Chiefs situational pass rushing, something he can contribute on immediately. When Justin Houston and Hali both went down, the Chiefs took a nose dive, couldn't get any pressure on the QB, this pick will also help insure that won't happen.
Not the best pick, but I see why they did it.
