How long did it take you to get use to wearing your wedding ring? Do you sleep with it on?
About 4 months for me before it started to feel "normal."
Still can't sleep with it on though.

couple of months. I started out taking it off before showering and sleeping, but I never take it off now. I feel naked without it

It felt weird for about a month, I guess. I don't wear jewelry except for my wedding band, so it took some getting used to.
I've slept with it on my hand from day-1 and it hasn't been an issue for me.

It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it. I still don't sleep with it on however even after 5 years.

What insight do you hope to gain from what time different men slept comfortably wearing rings that you'll be able to apply to your life?

I don't remember how long it took to feel normal, but I rarely take mine off. I was allergic to mine for a little bit after having my first child, but now I only take it off to clean it or when I'm mixing something with my hands.
My husband only takes his off when he plays golf.

Oh, and my arse is ten times more interesting than you comfortably wearing your jewelry.

I'm the same way, which is probably why it took so long to get use to.
I forgot it one day this week and not having it on bugged me the whole day.

So let me pose this question:
Do any of you married folk still play basketball, softball or any other kind of sport that would require you to take it off unless you wanted to run the risk of breaking your finger and having to get it cut off?

I've played basketball in mine, didn't really think about it. Take it off for tennis and hockey though, don't like the way it feels on the racket or in a glove.
I'm so bad at basketball it wouldn't matter though,

I generally take mine off when I play sports, go to the gym (metal on metal makes me want to ), or swim. I have paranoia of losing it in the ocean/ lake.

If I'm doing something that requires hair gel and cologne, I wear my ring.

The only time I take mine off is when I use power tools and when I was playing rugby.

A couple of weeks. I never had worn any jewelry at all before my ring not even a watch.

This
I never take mine off because I'm probably the best husband on the entire Rant by a fairly large margin
