Can we stop trying to rearrange the divisions and just admit that 6-0-2>>>6-1-1?

Its ridiculous that it takes 12 years to cycle through the other division just to protect two games.

In a 6-0-2 it would take 7 years to play everybody in the other division both home and away and it would remove all the complaining about unfair schedules.

The real answer might be the 6-0-3. In that format, you'd play every team in the other division in 4 years, and the longest you'd go without playing a specific team is 3 years. The uneven number of home/away games could be an issue though.

Oh great, first Alabama, and now Clemson crying about how the 12 year rotation isn't fair.

No. Too much tradition. You'll never get rid of those games.

We're glad to be here, regardless of division.
Y'all can battle over whose rivalry has the best acronym.
Or which state is the most southern.
Put us wherever. We'll play ball.

How about you give up the Clemson game so we can go to a 9-game SEC schedule?

How does that sound?

My issue with scheduling isn't getting Florida every year.. It's that it will take 15 years for us to play @ Georgia again...

Why would we do that? It'd be unnecessary.

Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia are the three main obstacles in getting that schedule because they don't want to have to play nine SEC games + a strong OOC every year.

If every other team had a strong OOC opponent then it wouldn't be an issue.
