I agree with Saban and disagree with Malzahn. We need 9 SEC games.

I like more real games but it doesn't really matter to me. If we start scheduling real opponents the difference between Mizzou and say Arizona st is minimal

Yes we fricking do. I think Slive knows this. If he wanted to lock in 8 games, we wouldn't have 3 "bridge schedules". The only reason we've had so many is because Slive has been politicking for 9.

At the current rate, Auburn would play in Gainesville 8 times a century.

Did Malzahn show his hand? Is a 9-game schedule the Achille's Heel of the HUNH?

Most auburn fans arent pussies and afraid to play nine SEC games.
We appreciate your interest in the game.

Eta: whoops, meant to say aren't, not are. Subtle change there.

Saban has a deal where he plays Tennessee, Vandy, and Kentucky for the next ten years if he gets it to pass and Les knows it. I am surprised Bret isn't riding Saban's coattail on this one too.

I'm with you, allin. Hope we get 9 SEC games soon. In a 14 team league 8 games makes it hardly a real conference.
