I just hate news media today, while the chances of something happening is incredibly small, their unreal amount of reporting and publicizing these events have to be encouraging this shite. Even just the threats

And now Auburn University's hands are tied. What are they supposed to do? If they cancel class, then anytime some jerkoff wants a day off all he has to do is write a threat on the bathroom wall. If they don't cancel class and something does happen, then they have to deal with the results of the events plus the disastrous backlash

You definitely don't cancel class because of what you said and the guy would just push his threat to the next day. You have to take the business as usual approach.

Alabama had a bomb threat not too long ago. It was the day Alabama played Oakland in basketball. That was the first basketball game I missed as a student. Anyway, it was reported that someone called in a threat and said there was a bomb in a garbage can near Shelby Hall (the Science complex). Obviously nothing was found/detonated

Something similar happened at LSU about a year ago, a guy called in a threat. Nothing was found but I believe he was looking at some very serious time over it.

I agree but the amount of people carrying on campus is going to scare teh shite out of me. Normally I don't give a shite but the people carrying don't do it normally and are looking for threats.

hope it's nothing. NWA area schools have had a ton of threats pop up recently. Kids just trying to get out of school or something. so stupid

I dont know about AU but at Bama there is a good number of people that carry on campus. Not really concealed carry but keep them in their trucks/cars. I always had my .40 in my truck.
