Strength and conditioning coaches are now required to be certified. And a staff member certified in CPR, first aid and defibrillation must be present at all "physical, countable athletic activities." There also must be a rest period of at least three hours between preseason practices.

LINK

The organization relaxed its policy for non-performance-enhancing drugs.

The penalty for a first positive test will only be half a year instead of a full year, in order to help athletes receive proper rehabilitation.

The rules aren't final until the Division I Board of Directors meets on April 24

Imagine, as a recruit.. you're being shown the athletic complex by your good looking hostess. You open the door, and a waterfall of chocolate syrup is raining down....

Over half of the schools voted against it.

Not everyone can be as rich as the sec.

Fortunately... they woke up.
If they didn't, the 5 power conferences would just have walked away from the ncaa.

Chocolate dribbling down the hostess is even better.

If they haven't walked away from the NCAA by now, they won't unless shite gets completely unbearable. From the looks of things, the NCAA is loosening the reigns a little, at least with the bullshite limits they had on meals for athletes.

I thought they were "starving"? or are they just starving like a 3 year old having a tantrum?

No more whining will be tolerated - meals, snacks and juice are now unlimited and available at all hours, kinda like a cruise ship.
