With Bo a close 2nd??

RB, yes. Bo was the best athlete ever, though. (IMO)

Yes. How close is up for debate

They were the exact same back. Same number. Same everything. Except one played for one school in Georgia, the other played for a different school in Georgia.

Yes. Mark Ingram is a close second.

Hershel was the best RB ever, period.

I think so. Hershel is the best RB while Bo is the best athlete in SEC history imo.

Most dominant college player I've ever seen....

And one played through injuries instead of going to the sideline. He also won the SEC every year he was on campus and won a national title.
The other was Bo Jackson.

I can agree with this, easily. And a decent case could be made for Bo being the best, too. But I lean towards Herschel. But, I am biased.

Yeah, Bo never played hurt. That was always a knock on him.

UGA won. By your logic, AJ is twice the player that Herschel was.

Real question... would Bo have been hands down the best if he had just played Football instead of splitting his time with baseball?

AJ had an elite, top level defense, an NFL caliber OL, NFL running backs out the arse, above average WRs and without question the greatest coach in America during his career.
Everyone in the stadium knew Herschel was getting the ball just about every play and people still didn't stop him.
YOu do have a valid point that I agree with somewhat, but the 2 situations aren't the same.

Hershel ran track at UGA too

Hershel is the GOAT, and DMAC was 10x the back BO was.
