For example, if you live in Alabama, build a team from a combination of Alabama, Auburn, UAB, Troy, South Alabama, and so forth... As long as the teams are located in the state you live in, it's fair game. Try to use only FBS schools (no Junior Colleges, etc). I only want a starting lineup. You do not have to do a full depth chart. I'm interested to see someone do one from Florida and Mississippi...

OFFENSE
Quarterback: Nick Marshall
Runningback: Derrick Henry
Wide Receiver: Sammie Coates
Wide Receiver: Amari Cooper
Wide Receiver: Duke Williams
Tight End: OJ Howard
Left Tackle: Shon Coleman
Left Guard: Alex Kozan
Center: Reese Dismukes
Right Guard: Avery Young
Right Tackle: Leon Brown

DEFENSE
Defensive End: Carl Lawson
Defensive Tackle: Montravius Adams
Defensive Tackle: A'Shawn Robinson
Defensive End: Johnathan Allen
Outside Linebacker: Cass McKinzy
Middle Linebacker: Trey DePriest
Outside Linebacker: Reuben Foster
Cornerback: Eddie Jackson
Safety: Robenson Therezie
Safety: Landon Collins
Cornerback: John Mincy

SPECIAL TEAMS
Punt Returner: Christian Jones
Kick Returner: Corey Grant and Christian Jones
Punter: Adam Griffith
Kicker: Jimmy Hutchinson

*Due to practice reports and constant flipping of Alabama's offensive line, and the fact that Auburn returned 4/5 starters, I chose to go with making up the offensive line full of Auburn players. They were too successful to overlook.
*The secondary is pretty weak, IMO. Typically, guys like John Minzy and Eddie Jackson wouldn't start. Robenson Therezie shifted to safety after being so successful at STAR for Auburn. Landon Collins was a "no doubter" pick.
*Nick Marshall gets the nod at quarterback thanks to his successful rookie campaign. Alabama's quarterback position is a pretty big question mark.
*With special teams, punter and kicker were a toss-up. Auburn and Alabama replace both of them.
*I chose to go with a 43 defense vs a 34 defense because I felt like there were more quality defensive linemen between the teams.
*Sammie Coates, Duke Williams and Amari Cooper gives the team a great set of wide receivers.
*OJ Howard was a definite choice for tight end. Nobody else is even close to his ability, other than CJ Uzomah.
*Derrick Henry got the nod at running back, but you couldn't go wrong picking between him, Cam Artis-Payne or TJ Yeldon.

Imagine college football if you could only recruit in state.
The SEC would still be pretty dominant I think.

I don't know, man.

That kid Georgia Tech stole from Alabama a couple of years back could probably start somewhere.

The SEC would be behind the Texas schools.

Yea the Texas and Florida schools would be stacked, but the rest of the southern states still have great HS football players. I think LSU would be great still, a lot of talent comes out of Louisiana.

Georgia, with the right coaches, would dominate the SEC. They only have Georgia Tech to contend with in-state. They could gather all of the talent they needed without having to worry about Alabama, Auburn, etc...raiding the state.

Florida, to an extent, would be pretty damn good, only they have to contend with more schools...specifically Florida State.

Alabama and Auburn would engage in some more bidding wars, flipping of players, claims of illegal allegations, and so forth...between the fanbases. And the teams wouldn't be as strong.

Yea, Louisiana would supply LSU with a ton of talent. They have nobody to contend with in-state, regarding losing players to another college. Right now, they mainly lose players to Alabama, Auburn, and Texas A&M. None of those teams, especially Alabama, would be able to get their players then...

The only position he could potentially start at is DB, and he hasn't played DB since HS a few years ago. I have my doubts.

I don't think Alabama fans even want Cyrus Jones at cornerback, Cass McKinzy and Robenson Therezie are too good to overlook, and someone has to take over that other cornerback position opposite Eddie Jackson...IMO.

LSU has the best Location for recruiting IMO.
They have nobody in state to compete with, and they are the gateway between the south and Texas.

I would put Jeremy Johnson over Marshall because I'm a hater but otherwise that offense looks ridiculous

Does DeAndre Smelter return for Georgia Tech? If so, he would start. And as inconsistent as Georgia's offensive line has been, I would imagine somebody on Georgia Tech's offensive line would start.

Smelter wouldn't start over any of our WRs. Mitchell, Bennett, Conley are all better than him.

This might be true, but all they do is cut block so it's hard to tell
