In football the only answer is the 2008 team.Outside of maybe Oklahoma and Florida it was the most talented team in the country. At the end of the year once that team starting putting it together it could've beat any team in the country. The 2003 team wasn't all that great outside of Manning.

Basketball was very difficult.I remember the sweet sixteen team but I don't think they were more talented than the 2010 team.2010 team was a decent center away from being a very good team.

Baseball was a easy pick for me.That 2005 team was loaded.

2008 for football easily and 2005 for baseball.

Basketball would have to be the team that made the Sweet 16.

It was the best basketball team in Ole Miss history but I don't think it was the most talented.

I can't argue, I just don't remember enough about our basketball teams.

I remember being disappointed when he dipped below .400 in the SEC tournament.

He also hit the furthest ball I've ever seen to beat Alabama in the SEC tournament at the Met.

I really believe last years basketball team was top to bottom the most talented OM squad I've seen. We really only should of lost a couple games and should have definitely made it to at least the sweet 16. Alas, WAOM.

The 2008 football squad will probably go down as the most talented in school history.

Brandon Bolden
Johnny Brown
Marshay Green
Greg Hardy
Shay Hodge
John Jerry
Peria Jerry
Kendrick Lewis
Kentrell Lockett
Dexter McCluster
Michael Oher
Ashlee Palmer
Jamarca Sanford
Jevan Snead
Marcus Tillman
Cassius Vaughn
Allen Walker
Mike Wallace

I think our last years basketball team was overall better we just lost games we shouldn't have because we have Kennedy as coach.

ETA: Just like the 2008 football team where we had Nutt as coach.

Football: 2008

Basketball: 1998 (we got Valpoed but we won the West, runner up in SECCG, and were a #4 seed)

Baseball: hands down 2005...we had to run into the eventual national champ, didn't we.

2014 and 2015 could rival that 2008 team.

Tony Conner
CJ Hampton
Anthony Alford
Tee Shepard
Derrick Jones
Robert Nkemdiche
CJ Johnson
Isaac Gross
Fadol Brown

Laremy Tunsil
Aaron Morris
Austin Golson
Rod Taylor
Evan Engram
Sammie Epps
Jeremy Liggins
Laquon Treadwell
Quincy Adeboyejo
Markell Pack
Walton
Mathers
Switchblade

Those are just the guys that will be here both years that have either proven their worth on the field or received rave reviews in practice. This doesn't include unknowns like Christian Russell, Fahn Cooper, Demarquis Gates and Kendarius Webster who could show up and show out. Also, Dodson and Wilkins are likely studs, as well.

I think if Kincade or Buchanan can be as good as Snead was his RS Soph year, then 2015 could be the most fappable year in recent memory.

I don't get giddy about Ole Miss football easily at all, but it's hard to look at our juniors and seniors for 2015 and not get wooly. Hell even our sophomores have major promise.

The 2013 recruiting class has turned out to be solid top to bottom and not nearly as top heavy as people would like us to believe. It really looks like everyone but Hill will play serious minutes for us. If the 2014 class is anywhere close to as solid...damn.

And SURELY one of our QBs can be at LEAST as good as Snead was in his first year.

ETA - Sorry I got off topic. Seeing the 2008 roster just made me realize how special 2015 might be. We might finally have talent AND coaching.

Right, but he was still worse than either of Bo's seasons.

You think Kincade and Buchanan have that in them? I do.

Bo's first year had more passing yards but fewer touchdowns and more interceptions.

Tho I'm not taking into account rushing stats so it could be a wash.

See I was looking at a more holistic picture. He added 8 rushing TDs and 390 yards.

And he did that with less talent around him than Snead had.

I dunno, we're picking nits now, but my original point stands. If either of those QBs is as good as either Snead OR Bo were in their first years in red and blue, we will be able to win any game we play.

I envy your optimism, I really do. The fact of the matter is - of the 27 players named in your post, 15 of them haven't played a down at the collegiate level. The 2008 team was a juggernaut filled with NFL talent. I'd love nothing more than for you to be spot on with that assessment but I'd pump the brakes just a bit
